C2H Meals
A meals plate is the everyday lunch of South India and the thing most visitors never order, because a menu listing it as one line undersells it badly. It is not a single dish. It is rice at the centre and a ring of small portions around it — a curry, a dry vegetable, dal, sambar, rasam, curd, pickle, appalam, something sweet — eaten in a sequence rather than all at once.
The order matters locally even if nobody enforces it: sambar first with the rice, then rasam, then curd last to cool everything down. The sweet goes wherever you like it.
Our express meals are the compact version of that, built to come out quickly at lunch. Both the veg and the non-veg plate carry the full set of sides; the difference is what sits in the main compartment.
