Scripps Ranch does not have much in the way of South Indian food. Chennai 2 Hyderabad is the nearest of it — we are on Camino Ruiz in Mira Mesa, a short drive down the hill, and we do dine in, takeout and delivery.

Ordering ahead
If you are driving in, order online before you leave and pick it up at the counter — dosas and biryani are both cooked to order, so the timing works out in your favour. Delivery is available too.
Family orders
Bucket biryani serves four and comes in chicken, mutton or paneer — it travels better than almost anything else on the menu, which makes it the usual choice for a family dinner picked up on the way home. For larger groups we cater.
What we cook
South Indian food across four traditions: Tamil Nadu tiffins, Chettinad and Andhra curries, and Hyderabadi biryani. There is a North Indian section too — butter chicken, tikka masala, naan — for the table that wants both. All of our meat is halal.
